as for me, Seabear - We Built a Fire http://3.bp.blogspot.com/_DGebsZ5hal...ilt+a+fire.jpg Their 2007 debut is really good indie folk, have high hopes for this Ryan Adams - Love is Hell http://images.uulyrics.com/cover/r/r...ve-is-hell.jpg His cover of Wonderwall massively improves on the original, decided it was worth looking into an album |
Vagézaryavtre - Tsaévarya Vagézaryavtre

I got... Wabash- Never Homeless http://cllct.com/files/releasecover/...20homeless.jpg Piano-pop angst ridden songs of a college freshman who hated his freshman year and dropped out. Relatable stuff. (Minus the dropping out) |
Dimlite - My Human Wears Acedia Shreds EP

I found these on CD for €3 each so i could hardly say no...
http://www.slicingupeyeballs.com/wp-...madelica_b.jpg Primal Scream - Screamadelica Dunno why i put off getting this album for so long, it's freakin' incredible! It's like an entire wild night out compressed into one hour-long album. Amazing. http://ecx.images-amazon.com/images/...500_AA300_.jpg Mercury Rev - Deserter's Songs A really great collection of songs, some nice melancholic stuff on here. It's amazing that they sound so far removed here from their earlier albums like Yerself Is Steam, they completely reinvented themselves and pulled it off brilliantly. |
Girl Talk -- All Day
Its mash ups, and its meant to be listened to all the through. Its really good. |
Picked up U2's How to Dismantle an Atomic Bomb on a whim about five years ago... Haven't listened to music since.

Peter Gabriel - S/T 1
http://www.grayflannelsuit.net/wp-co...lbum-cover.jpg Peter Gabriel - S/T 3 http://www.creativereview.co.uk/imag...abriel_3_0.jpg I recently listened to Solsbury Hill and wondered why the fack I didn't have this guy in my library |
i recently got a few albums
Janelle Monáe - The Archandroid http://www.expressnightout.com/conte...lle-cd-250.jpg apart from all the praise both here and at other site specializing in music (ie this is the number 5 rated album for 2010 on RYM)....the cover is just kind of intriguing....this album is an amazing mixture of pop, experimental and sci-fi....i love it....and now i need to hear the previous ep Sightings - Through The Panama http://stuff.debaser.it/resize.aspx?....JPG&width=250 James suggested this to me.....really good spastic noise rock..sort of a less structured Liars.....at times its ear piercing goodness....at other times it's almost tribalistic with jarring shanks of noise.....quite good Wooden Wand - Death Seat http://www.ondarock.it/images/cover/...1292595598.jpg well this is the band opening for Swans in March....and i've never actually heard his albums by himself....this is really good mixture of gothic country (i guess) folk, singer-songwriter type stuff....fits very well within the "Young God" catalogue |
