I've been posting about them a lot lately and most of you probably just figure it's more of me being mainstream after hearing 'Handlebars'. But this is actually really well made alternative hip-hop IMO, with a little slap bass thrown in, just the way I like it. 'Combat' kicks ass.
Ugh, I can't that album. Not because it's really terrible or anything(although IMO the only good song is Handlebars), but because of how much my little brother overplayed it when it came out.

Better late than never, Janszoon! I've listened to about half of it and while I like it I still say it sounds nothing like KoRn.
Glad to hear you like it. It seemed like something you'd be into.

I don't totally remember the context of that conversation, but I don't think I was trying to say they sounded identical to Korn, just that there were a bunch of bands doing that kind of thing at that time.

Yeah, but they sound a lot more like Infectious Grooves than KoRn--a mixture of rap and thrash (which, granted, there were a lot of bands doing). KoRn, however, has a more cohesive sound IMO...

Thanks bob. I didn't even know they were coming up with a new album. I had to download it also. Im listening to it now and it sounds amazing. So far I've only listened to one song but it's so good. I love the cello on it.

EDIT. Holy shiat! This album sounds nice.

Weird? I've never understood why anyone ever paid for mp3 downloads.
It sounds less good, no jewel case and when you don't back it up you lose your music. It's more work, less quality, less fun and just as expensive.
I always call people who download music for money weird.
