You should download "White Light From the Mouth of Infinity" next if you like "Soundtracks for the Blind". I mean hell, if you like super brutal, minimalistic, droning doom music than you should check out their early stuff too.

Some more hip hop from 2010:

Hus - Amaeru EP (2010)

I'm a little confused how this is an EP when it's got 13 tracks and clocks in at over 40 minutes in length. Some of the tracks are remixes so that might have something to do with it, in either case it's a really chill album with some great jazz styled horns in it for those of you who love jazzy hip hop.

Dark Time Sunshine - Vessel (2010)

I saw this on a couple of RYM member's top albums of 2010 lists so I decided to see what it's all about.

Reflection Eternal - Revolutions Per Minute (2010)

I've never been that big of a Talib Kweli fan but people have been saying good things about this since it came out so I decided to give it a try.

B. Dolan - Fallen House Sunken City (2010)

I've heard that as far as abstract hip hop goes, this is really good and seeing as how much I love Aesop Rock I figured I should give it a try.

PackFM - I F*cking Hate Rappers (2010)

My only experience with PackFM has been as a guest emcee on CunninLynguists tracks, but I've heard good things about this release so I figured this would be a good place as any to start off.

Bush Tetras - Boom In The Night
Props to Gavin B for posting one of their videos in the Alternative Rock week thread. This band is awesome, nice funky New York post-punk with really sweet basslines and no-wave influenced guitars, really great vocals as well. This album is a collection of all their studio recordings from 1980 to 1983 and it's all brilliant stuff.

Hellhammer - Satanic Rites
In the search for new metal bands to listen to i decided to give this a shot. This is a 1983 demo from the band that morphed into Celtic Frost and it's pretty good actually. The intensity here is remarkable, with a sound that is perhaps closer to hardcore punk than heavy metal but you can certainly hear the influences that this band have had on the Norwegian black metal scene. It does sound a bit monotonous and 2-D in places but theres some good songs on this. The nice raw sound makes me feel like i should have this on cassette.

At last I have managed to find an album by the creepy Industrial duo.

Not out yet but managed to find it. Love that cover and it's Motorhead so it's always worth a listen.

This is supposed to be Hardcore Punk meets Breakcore Electronica. Cannot wait to hear this.

New Sodom album. Still going and sounding great too.

I have a couple of remixes by these guys but not heard this. Electronic Post Punk apparently. Sounds like it's worth a listen at least.

I've been kinda' skeptical, but if you give it a solid, I just might check it out.
