^^Yeah you're right, it is the best representation of the raw intensity, especially since it's a live album. But, to me their most brutal album was always Filth. Have you heard Jarboe's solo album Sacrificial Cake? It's brilliant, has some very unique feminine intensity and mystique.

I'll have to check out Jarboe's stuff then, maybe it'll grow on me.

Why I haven't got this in my collection before is criminal really.

Wow. An early example of Powerviolence and this has a kick like a mule. Frenetic, heavy and perfect for headphones. Liking this a lot.

Quality early American Hardcore Punk with a crust edge (pardon the pun). If you like Black Flag or Discharge then this is essential listening.

Springsteen - The Promise. Really good if you liked Born to Run or Darkness On the Edge of Town

I don't have any shame. "Enter the Ninja" is catchy like the herp.

Quite like that album, even though I once fell asleep to it for some reason.

Tim Barry - 28th and Stonewall (2010)

Decent little folk punk/ country album from former Avail vocalist.

Justin Townes Earle - Harlem River Blues (2010)

I have nothing but respect for Steve Earle and it seems he raised his son right (or right enough considering senior's drug problems). I've heard a lot of good things about this album and The Good Life (2008) was a pretty decent album all things considered so I decided to give his new one a try.

The Scarring Party - Come Away From The Light (2008)

Been looking for something from these guys for quite awhile, finally found a link.

I must say, it's quite impressive that you managed to do that.

i honestly feel that Jarboe is the biggest thing missing from the "new" Swans

the Jarboe & neurosis album is also really worth checking out

and that Infest album is epic...

this is VERY different and unlike anything they have ever put out.....

this may become my favorite album on 2010....classic
