I don't know how you can't say it isn't Emo. It very clearly is. People hating on emo is getting real old.

Emo is fucking wonderful.
It's just a shame twats with eyeliner signing about things that have no real emotion are labelled "Emo" thus the genre having this stigma surrounding it.
But proper Emo is great, I used to be on the Emo is rubbish bandwagon, but that's because I hadn't heard good/proper Emo.

I won't--it hasn't stigmatized me with regards to Cap'n Jazz. That said, looking at the length of some of these songs I'm a bit concerned.

Don't listen to the anthology then, listen to Burritos, Inspiration Point, Fork...

Same, exactly the same. It's so irritating, such a misused word.

Favourite Emo album?
I think I'd go for American Football's S/T, or Diary.

Hmm.
I Hate Myself's 10 Songs is my favourite but it's might be called Screamo.
SDRE's LP2 is probs my favourite straightforward Emo album.

Nah, I Hate Myself are classed as Emo.
Emotive hardcore probably.
I've never been able to get into them for some reason.

You mean the pink album?
Diary will always be my favourite by SDRE, but that's a damn fine album.

I was referring to the Brand New songs. Cap'n Jazz keeps em short and sweet.

In fact, I found the American Football songs that I heard rather boring and that's why I went for the Cap'n Jazz...
