You could try this. It's a collaboration with Mick Harris who is Napalm Death's drummer even though there are no drum tracks and it seems like Plotkin does have a lot of stuff out there which I may well delve into. If you need a link just holler.

Sounds interesting. Link? Why not. :)

i suggest Atomsmasher (aka Phantomsmasher)...whom i ironically saw open for Fantomas :)....also he (James Plotkin) did an amazing collaboration with Mark Spyby (Dead Voices On Air/Zoviet France) who in turn also did an amazing album with Mick Harris...and if you're in the mood for some good classic doom...listen to Khanate...James Plotkin and Steven O'Malley work wonders as a bass/guitar duo

Wow, this is like six degrees of separation :) Thanks for these suggestions, very helpful. My familiarity with doom is pretty slim, so I just might check out Khanate. I became interested in Plotkin through other ways. I've heard some of his music (don't know what exactly, but it was very noisy and droney) years ago and was pretty much blown away. The name stayed with me.
