Sounds interesting. Link? Why not. :)

Wow, this is like six degrees of separation :) Thanks for these suggestions, very helpful. My familiarity with doom is pretty slim, so I just might check out Khanate. I became interested in Plotkin through other ways. I've heard some of his music (don't know what exactly, but it was very noisy and droney) years ago and was pretty much blown away. The name stayed with me.

Munly & The Lupercalians - Petr & the Wulf (2010)

Well it's been awhile since Munly has graced us with creepy country songs about child molestation or abortions so lets see what he's got this time.

Thin Lizzy - Thin Lizzy

I've been listening to Bad Reputation today and realized how sexy Phil Lynott's voice was, and how awesome this album is. So I thought, why not start from the beginning?

Ahh Thin Lizzy. Rarely a bad word said about them and quite rightly so. Classic band with no frills. Hope you enjoy.

The Upsetters - Super Ape

I have no idea why the genre of dub escaped me for so long, but I'm going to attempt to make up for lost time.

That said though I do feel the album is more Jennifer Charles' project then Mike Pattons, her voice just oozes sex, but is well balanced by Patton's deeper more romantic style.

Yeah Lovage isn't really his defining material. I still really like it though and yes, Jennifer Charles has probably the sexiest voice I've ever heard. All my thanks goes to you for that Mike Patton beginners guide, it taught me everything.

edit: That would actually be a really worthwhile download for you, Dayvan Cowboy.

That's a great album to start with. You may want to further your education with this:
