I don't know anything about PJ Harvey but on another forum, somebody was complaining about how Steve Albini produced it and they hated his production skills so they hated this album. I think they used the words "too intense".

Only heard the title track so far. Its great. So excited.

He could always listen to the versions of those songs on the 4 track demo album.
They don't have any production.

Sleater-Kinney - The Woods
I've wanted to check out this band for a while and after seeing the video for 'Jumpers' i just had to get this album. A fantastic album full of hooks, energy and passion.

Suede - Suede
Five years ago i'd never imagine i'd own a Suede album! But musical outlook changes of course, and after hearing 'Animal Nitrate' being played on late night radio i suddenly felt like i'd been missing something. I downloaded this album of course and i wasn't disappointed, every track on this is a blinder. There's such an effortless mix of memorable rockers and tender ballads throughout this album. My dilemma now is whether to move on their more commercial stuff or not.

Aside from the "The Next Life", which I love, I've never been able to get into that album.

HENRY COW - Legend

My prog-obsessed music teacher thought I'd like it.

All of Alcest's work not including the new one (which I plan on getting soon.)
I've only listened to Souvenirs so far, but holy tits on sticks this is some beautful music.
