^You shouldn't feel old, the only reason I haven't heard of them is because recently I've been isolating myself musically, so I can focus on other artists rather than just go along with whatever everybody else is listening to. But, yeah, I see what kind of group they are now. Their band name annoys me :\

No I feel old because I was around your age when I first heard Hybrid Theory and it just seemed impossible to know a 13 year old who didn't know Linkin Park. You have to understand this was in the days when people having a high speed internet connection wasn't as normal and I had never heard of what a torrent was, or file sharing sites like Mediafire, I had never even seen an MP3 player at this time, the technological dark days. It's just hard to think that was already 9 or 10 years ago, that's what's making me feel old.

^ I Remember those times, but I was like five. My internet used to scream at me and people had to buy external CD burners if they wanted to make a Mix CD.

The only LP song i've heard is Shadow Of The Day, and it's rather annoying.

I remember my external CD burner. It was a 4x but I found that it didn't burn everything so the CD would skip, so I was forced to burn it at 2x for it to work properly. It took anywhere from 30 to 40 minutes to burn a CD, I remember Christmas 2002 my Uncle wanted me to burn all my Metallica CD's for him, and I had Kill 'Em All up to S&M, so it took most of the day. Just doesn't seem so long ago, but it was, but it's not a bad feeling, just means I'm growing.

By the way you were looking for some avant-garde metal bands, I made a list for you

I'd love to see your signature/links too, but the huge and obnoxious ones have caused me to block all signatures.

How is this? I've been wanting to give it a listen since seeing them live several years ago.

I haven't played it yet, just the first two songs but then I went back to playing the soul/funk. And I really don't remember what I thought of the two songs, guess I wasn't paying much attention.

Its pretty lame. I was underwhelmed. I wish every track was as good as "Sink Flordia Sink".

Make sure you're using headphones and laying down, it deserves your full attention.
