It was probably too soon when I first used it in 2007, but poor taste never stopped me.

Deerhunter - Halcyon Digest
This album seemed good enough on the first listen, although i wasn't really paying attention because i was working on a college assignment while i was listening to it and some of the songs passed me by. But the last song 'We Would Have Laughed' really grabbed my attention, probably the best song i've heard from Deerhunter.

Such a gorgeous chillout album from the Ninja Tune label. It's been one of my favourites in the genre for a couple of years and I'm pleased that I can now appreciate it on C.D.

I now have all three of his albums. Well chuffed (it's Fink BTW).

Glad you liked it mate! :thumb:

If you're interested, their album "Notes from the Underground" should also be right up alley! (It's much darker and has some more emo elements to it. It reminds of how Rainer Maria went from their emo sound to a more indie pop rock feel).

Try this out and see if it piques your interest :)

Sonic Boom Six - The Ruff Guide to Genre Terrorism

A fitting album title as this shifts from punk to ska to hip hop in a matter of seconds, seamlessly blending it all together into something that really helps it standout amongst other bands.
