I listened to Chutes to Narrow a couple of days ago and really enjoyed it. How's that?

I haven't seen my dad in three years (he lives 3000 KM away) and we randomly got into a discussion about music one day on the phone. It turns out we have a lot in common, as he's a big Aphex fan, and enjoys a lot of post-rock. He recommended me this album randomly and I can't wait to hear what this sounds like.

That's an awesome album!

Guided by Voices - Devil Between My Toes

An underrated GBV album. 'Hey Hey, Spaceman' is without a doubt my favorite GBV song. The melody is almost 'other worldish'.

I really liked Choirs Of The Eye, so lets see where this one goes.

It's marvellous. Really really good. I used to think all 3 of their albums were on parr but this one is definitely set ahead of the other two for me. It's just really nice and accessible, get it listened to!

Butterfly Explosion - Lost Trails
Even though this album was released back in March i'm only getting around to it now. This is a really beautiful album with layers and layers of effects-laden guitars and memorable songs. There's nothing really original going here but when it's done this well originality doesn't matter. This should be getting plenty of plays over the coming weeks.

Latest purchases this week:

Auf der Maur - Auf der Maur
The Beatles - Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band (Remaster)
Mudhoney - Superfuzz Bigmuff (Deluxe)

Had a listen to most of them at least once, and most are pretty good. Slightly disappointed with Sgt. Pepper on the first listen so maybe its just an album you have to go through a few times.

I wanted to give this a try, since I haven't heard anything but praise for this album.

Your post was why I checked them out. Couldn't find any sound clips for Jacket Made in Canada but did for Everest and it sounded good.

for Minor Threat, Fugazi, and The Shins albums posted.

I'd love to see your signature/links too, but the huge and obnoxious ones have caused me to block all signatures.

Because it's simply amazing. And nothing short of flawless.
