I've known most of the songs on it for a couple years, but I figured I should listen to the whole thing. Hysteria might be cheesy, but no album has ever been as simultaneously fun and captivating. Also, the production is incredible.

Drop Nineteens - Delaware (1992) I'm pretty familiar with the British/ Irish shoegaze band(s) of the '90's, so now I've decided to see what America was squirting out at around that time. |

Dramarama - Cinéma vérité Long lost mid 80s indie classic. The missing link between Echo & The Bunnymen & early REM. You'll all be worshipping this a few months down the line you mark my words. Nice cover of Bowie's Candidate too. Shame they had to spoil it by doing what every 80s indie band does at some point, Cover the Velvet Underground. Femme Fatal this time.

I tried that album a few days ago and something just didn't click for me. I thought the instrumentation was unique and definitely not what I was expecting, but other than that the album just didn't sit well with me.

I've been digging that a lot lately it's a really great album. It really invokes that nice summery early-90's feel, and i feel like i should own this album on cassette soundtracking my summer or something. The highlight of the album is definitely 'Winona', it's quite a fantastic and very memorable tune.
