^ Excellent album, that. John Peel was quite the fan of it from what I understand.

!!! - Myth Takes (2007)

Stormin' dance punk with an undeniably lovable album cover. So far I'm really digging the eclecticness of the various songs presented her and my own inability to really pigeonhole what sounds emerge. Not a bad way to start a Thursday!

Forest Swords - Dagger Paths (2010)

Self-described as "drone-step" or some other bollocks, the samples I heard nevertheless intrigued me enough to obtain a full blown LP. So far, the only thing I can say for sure is that's its an entertaining listen. Hear for yourselves if your curious about the contents!

Cocteau Twins - Blue Bell Knoll (1988)

Another highlight as of late. It took me a fair amount of digging, but this is the first Cocteau Twins album I've obtained which wow'd me from start to finish. Truly a heavenly cascade in every sense of the phrase...

I was listening to that album only a few hours ago, it's a really great album once it grows on you. You really need to check out Heaven Or Las Vegas you'll absolutely love it, it's by far my favourite Cocteau Twins album and the title-track is incredible.

That's exactly word for word what I said when I first heard it.

About frigging time too. Only been waiting to hear this album since 1981 or some shit like that. Worth the wait? Well it's nothing special but very decent poppy post punk.

XTRMNTR

Easily my favorite Primal Scream album. "MBV Arkestra" is intense.

I haven't gotten any new music in a long while. I smell a downloading spree...

This album is really helping me build my psychological profile on you.

The Standard - August (2002)

The Standard - The Standard

With my What.CD account I'm trying to grab some of the albums that have proven to be more elusive. This band is probably the band that got me to take a serious look at the indie rock scene, I just wish I could get more people talking about them.

Absolutely beautiful. Makes you think what kind of impact it would have made if Wilson didn't drop the project in the 60s rather than 2004.
