![]() ![]() King Crimson - In the Court of the Crimson King I've heard it before and hated it, but a lot has changed since the last time I listened to it - I figured I may like it this time around. This and Dark Side of the Moon are the closest Progressive Rock albums I've come to liking, so we'll see... |

I've heard the Yes album with the green cover, didn't like.
Not sure if it was called Fragile though, don't think it was. I didn't like the Yes album with the green cover though (I'm too lazy to look up the name.) Quite enjoying this Crimson album, even though a while ago I hated it. |

I think I'm more inclined to like Progressive Rock albums that don't drag on.
DSOTM isn't a favourite album, I don't particularly like it much. But it's 42 minutes long and is Floyd's best album. In The Court of the Crimson King is 43 minutes long. Them Yes albums have a nice running time as well, I may check them out again. I may enjoy them more than I did a few months ago. In The Court of the Crimson King is 3 tracks in, I hope Moonchild and the title track aren't gonna ruin it. Pretty good thus far. |

Close To The Edge was the best of the epic style albums that Yes ever released. Hard to say what their best work was after they went to a traditional songwriting format.
