Drop Nineteens - Delaware A band i've wanted to get into for a while and i'm starting to feel like i've waited too long. This album is immensely enjoyable so far and has a really nice layered and textured sound reminiscent of MBV and Swirlies. Lovesliescrushing - Bloweyelashwish Shall be falling asleep to this one tonight. Another band i've been meaning to check out and hopefully i will not be disappointed.

^ Effloresce is really awesome. I'm completely out of touch though, I got that album a couple of years back and now they have 3 more I could have been listening to. Very good band.
I just bought Amplifier Worship by Boris Bring it on.

IDMz for my brainz!
Sunken Foal - Fermented Condiments EP I just played this 4-track EP and it's quite awesome. VHS Head - Trademark Ribbons of Gold An EP surfaced last year on SKAM Records, leaving people to wonder who was behind the name. Turns out it's some new guy apparently, crafting very cut-up nostalgic IDM. Anxious to hear this. Karsten Pflum - Flugten fra år 2000 Danish producer I recently discovered. I listened to his 2010 release Slaphead Faun (a compilation of unreleased tunes from the past) the other day and was quite impressed. I heard lots of Plaid and early Aphex Twin influence, even a bit of Autechre but more melodic.

Bought:
Ministry- Filth pig. Storming album. chains & Black Exhaust You know those chats about Funk Rock and that Red Hot Chilli Peppers were the main proponents? Not a chance. This superb comp of curios from the early 70's redefines Funk Rock: That guitar riff is ridiculously good.
