Not sure what I think of this album yet. Well done melodically but the theme is a little schizophrenic. I think I'll need to listen to it a few more times to decide whether or not it's worth keeping.

Don Caballero - For Respect

Absolutely amazing album from start to finish.
I approve of these two.

(and yes, the battles album is worth keeping)

From the last few days:

+One - Bare Necessities

I usually source my images from Amazon. This album is not in their database. As you can imagine, doing a Google image search for this artist and album name yields vastly different results than what I wanted (though they were not entirely unwelcomed). Especially since it's a rather obscure release. So I'll go with the teeny weeny RYM image. Anyway, it's pretty mellow IDM produced by Plaid.

Q and Not U - No Kill No Beep Beep

I used to have this on CD. But a few years later I traded it because I didn't like it that much. Then a few years later I picked up their 2nd album Different Damage and liked it much more. Then a few years later I decided to grab this again, even though I know I don't like it as much as Different Damage.

This Town Needs Guns - Animals

This was mentioned by Dayvan Cowboy somewhere and it sounds like it could be good.

Foals - Total Life Forever

I enjoyed the debut based on Dayvan Cowboy's recommendation, and will listen to the follow-up despite Dayvan Cowboy's distaste for it.

I'd love to see your signature/links too, but the huge and obnoxious ones have caused me to block all signatures.

Jake Mandell - Parallel Processes

Something electronic recommended in another region of cyberspace.

Karsten Pflum - Slaphead Faun

I have no idea. I kept on putting it off and using Corgan's ego as an excuse. But it's fantastic getting Melon Collie now too.

Corgan's ego? You mean like, his "wah god hates me, qq" attitude?

Yeah I guess, he just seems like a prick.

I used to have a 4 foot bong that I named Billy Corgan's Ego. I probably mentioned this before, but oh well.

Honestly, he deserves whatever ego he might have. The guys knows how to write a good song or two.
