Our Love to Admire by Interpol... everyone seems to say it's their weakest album, but I really wanna listen to it and assess this opinion for myself, I am betting it's not nearly as bad as I've heard people say...

Of Montreal - Skeletal Lamping

I thought I had the first two already. Of Montreal, I did not. I was into them between 2004-2006 but lost interest, however lately I've been revisiting some (good summer music) and enjoying Hissing Fauna.

I forgot this one, which I just put on:

Tages - Contrast

http://60spunk.m78.com/image/contrast0.jpg

1967 album from this Swedish psychedelic pop/rock band. Their other LP from the same year, Studio, is a real gem. If you like The Beatles, The Kinks, Small Faces, The Pretty Things, The Idle Race, Status Quo, etc at their poppiest, you owe it to yourself to check it out. Contrast I don't know about yet, first time playing it. It seems definitely less poppy so far, more psych I guess. Enjoyable.

The Ocean - Aeolian

I was told that it would be wise to go back through The Ocean's previous discography.

Ah, you're new to Precambrian? Don't let the first disc turn you off like it did for me- it's good, but very generic. The second is honestly one of the best albums I've ever heard. Undoubtedly a modern sludge classic.

Yeah my only knowledge of The Ocean is thanks to Heliocentric because someone sent me a link saying I would love it. I hear what you mean, the first disc was pretty uninspiring, it sounded very generic, and like what every metalcore band fails to achieve. The second disc is a trip though, a trip I am enjoying immensely.
