The Sound - From the Lion's Mouth (1981)

I don't normally travel this far back when it comes to music (not with all the awesome stuff out today), but sometimes you do need to put an ear to the past and listen to some of the stuff that inspired the bands of today. That is exactly what I intend to do with this one.

Herbie Hancock - The Imagine Project
Downloaded this because I heard a version of "Don't Give Up" from it, with Pink and John Legend on vocals. Pink actually does a really great job on it. Listening to the rest now.

The Knife in Collaboration with Mt. Sims and Planningtorock - Tomorrow, In a Year
This album is blowing my mind! Think ambient electro-opera, supposedly inspired by and based on Charles Darwin's The Origin of Species. Very strange, very eerie, and very awesome.

Ray LaMontagne - Trouble
People have been recommending me this guy left and right lately...it was about that time.
