Big Boi-Sir Lusicious Left Foot:Son Of Chico Dusty
Heard reviews comparing it to OutKast's 90s albums, meaning I instantly was sold.

Bought:

Fela Kuti- Anthology 2
Fat Freddy's Drop- Dr. Boondigga and the BW
Spanky Wilson & The Quantic Soul Orchestra- I'm Thankful
New Model Army- The Love of Hopeless Causes
New Order- Get Ready
New Order- Waiting for the Siren's Call

Downloaded:

Continuing the UK's Revival in Dream Pop, TSOSB's second album is a perfect blend of woozy guitars and electronic haze. Cocteau Twins meets Lush via Saint Etienne. Very nice.

Ahh it came out! I've been looking forward to this. The Deheza sisters are freakin hot. How does this compare to Alpinisms?

This came out on Monday and links are getting pulled real quick. I haven't heard their first album and only found out about them yesterday when I was shopping at my local indie store and chatting with the guy working there. he said it's much more Pop orientated and there are a couple of poor tracks on there but I still really like it.

Alpinisms was a singles album, in my opinion. It had a couple really really strong tracks and the others were average, but showed a lot of promise. That's why I was looking forward to this.

These are a couple strong tracks off Alpinisms:

Couldn't find the studio version of this song, but this is a pretty cool live version:

Freakin LOVE the middle eastern vibe in that song.

I'm downloading Disconnect From Desire at the moment, it's a very slow link though. I've heard though that it's less dreamy, but i'm really looking forward to listening to it.

Half Asleep is definitely the best song on Alpinisms, but i love the alternate version a bit more. The production sounds better and that delay effect on the vocals in the chorus gives it a dreamier sound.

The Urban Voodoo Machine - Bourbon Soaked Gypsy Blues Bop'n'Stroll (2009)

I was sent this album... and it's pretty fu*king good so far! The sound is pretty much in the title, for fans of Tom Waits this is a must.
