I've got some Scars, M83, Matching Mole, Supergrass, late CAN, Iron & Wine, Buzzcocks, Smiths bootlegs, Sam Cooke, Chameleons, Tame Impala, Adam and the Ants, Alastair Galbraith, Eprom, Fairport Convention, In Gowan Ring, Gorky's Zygotic Mynci, Popol Vuh, Metric, Quicksilver Messenger Service, Sleepy Sun, the Bitter Tears, early Marvin Gaye, the Glitch Mob, Tom Tom Club, Alien Sex Fiend, late John Martyn, New Model Army, the Kinks, Golden Dawn, the Damned, Jimmy Cliff, the Hollies, Verve, the Specials, Ash, new Arcade Fire, solo McCartney, Desert Sessions albums, the new Fall, Meursault, Gui Boratto, Acid Mothers Temple, Menomena, Mission of Burma, Dam-Funk, Acid Mothers Temple, Crass, Manic Street Preachers

And I've recently bought albums by And You Will Know Us by the Trail of Dead, Deftones, King Crimson, 10,000 Maniacs, Living Color, Massive Attack, Bjork, NIN, Badly Drawn Boy, Sepultura, Kyuss, Mr Bungle, FNM...

I had no intention of actually spending money today, but these were all in this little secondhand shop, so it was criminal to say no, really...

Deicide - The Stench Of Redemption

Really loving the songs 'The Stench Of Redemption' and 'Not Of This Earth'. Other than that, nothing's really capturing me.

'Till Death Do Us Part' is my last requirement to complete my Deicide collection.

The Gaslight Anthem - American Slang
Listening now for the first time. It seems ok so far, nothing special, but hopefully a few more listens will do the trick. I loved Sink Or Swim and The '59 Sound so i'm hoping this will be just as good or even better.

One that's a few years old and a fairly new one; downloaded and bought, respectively.

If you like Devin Townsend you should definitely check out Strapping Young Lad. It's a lot heavier and more cathartic, but still has the melody found in his solo material. You should also definitely check out some of his earlier solo material like Terria, Infinity, Biomech: Ocean Machine, Physicist, and the first Devin Townsend Band album Accelerated Evolution. As for SYL, I would normally suggest City as the first album but in this case I would recommend The New Black because it's their most accessible album and most similar to Devin's solo material.

Yep. I already know and love them. I own City, Alien, The New Black, and The Chaos Years. I also own most of his solo material. I'm eagerly awaiting the new DTP album in May 2011, Deconstruction, as it's suppsed to be very SYL-esque. Also I heard there is going to be a new Ziltoid album.

Just otu of curiosity, where in Ne-va-duh do you live?
