All the other albums are excellent as well...especially Devotion. Beach House has this quality that is so addicting yet I can't really put my finger on it. One of my favorite albums of 08...check out Teen Dream as well it has been one of the best releases this year and if you are seeing them live I bet they will be playing a ton off that album as well.

And +81, that Tokyo Police album is really good, you won't be disappointed. EDIT: I gave in and downloaded it along with The '59 Sound because I feel I didn't give it the proper chance.

The Drums - The Drums I'm listening to it for the second time right now and i'm quite enjoying it. The new songs sound just as good as the songs on their EP and they'll probably be just as addictive. They're not exactly original or anything but who cares when you can write great pop songs like these? Various Artists - No New York Decided to download this out of curiosity after reading about it. It's a compilation accounting the New York no-wave scene in the late 70's. I'll give it a listen later.
