It's kind of like Iggy Pop does Post Punk & New Wave.
I can see why It's not as highly regarded as those two albums. I just find it more listenable.

I listened to the first 4 tracks and I could tell it was a very Post Punk album and it sounded okay, the other two just had something a bit more about them for me. I hope New Values is more of a grower
