Hahaha that's the American in me

I belive the last album I bought was Led Zeppelin I on CD. I have it on LP, but I dont have a record-player in my car, so this was strictly necessary.

Swirlies - Blonder Tongue Audio Baton
This band were staring at me for ages in my last.fm recommendations so i finally gave into them and downloaded this for free off their website. I'm certainly enjoying this, with their highly textured-sound comprised of Sonic Youth-esque guitars, complex rhythms and boy-girl vocals, and also an added sense of humour. Great stuff. I'll try and get around to their other albums and EPs in the not so distant future.

So you started with this album? It's great, to be sure...but I can't recommend "They Spent Their Wild Youthful Days in the Glittering World of the Salons" enough...sooooooo good. I know I've mentioned it a ton around here as well.

More people need to listen to the Swirlies.
