Benn Jordan - Pale Blue Dot

really pleasant space ambient. apparently it's a tribute to Carl Sagan.

The Black Keys - Brother (2010)

I quite liked it, had a nice late '70's psychedelic vibe to it and had some great production on it to make it sound as if it was lo-fi, but not sound like crap.

Band of Horses - Infinite Arms (2010)

Their other two albums didn't really wow me in the ways I was told they would, but I still feel inclined to at least give it a try... plus my new editor asked me to review it...

The Sadies - Darker Circles (2010)

Holy crap is this ever some great alternative country... I know I really haven't heard much in the way of it this year but already this is my favorite. God damn Canada has some great musicians.

.357 String Band - Lightning from the North (2010)

Wasn't even aware .357 String Band had a new album out this year, in any case it should rock the catbox.

If you have any recommendations for me to check out I'm all ears.
Just take a listen to it, and let me know what you think of it before I start randomly recommending things.

I enjoyed it. I also still really enjoy the Tin Hat Trio that I started listening to because of your thread so I'd actually love a random recommendation

Well as long as I'm posting

I'd love to see your signature/links too, but the huge and obnoxious ones have caused me to block all signatures.
