Shootenanny is kinda cool!!! Not my favorite Eels album by a long shot, but it's a solid fun rock album, a little different to other Eels albums in that it's generally a little more upbeat...

I like Farm? I haven't listened to it yet.

But while I may not like the fact that some albums are overly long, if the material is good it won't keep me from liking the album. It'll just knock a point or two off the score.

I'd love to see your signature/links too, but the huge and obnoxious ones have caused me to block all signatures.

Quite decent. "Counting Bodies Like Sheep To the Rhythm of the War Drums" - good song. kinda creepy. Can't compare to Tool however.

Ah yeah, I sometimes forget this is the 'last album you bought or downloaded thread' and not the 'Albums you're digging thread'

Let me know what you thought of it.

I thought they had some good songs there, they should've just been cut shorter..

this album is SO good. probably my favourite album of last year, and i most definitely think it's Dinosaur Jr. at their best (atleast as the original line up anyway). the sound is a lot more polished but they pull it off so well because it isn't over produced in any way.

sure the album is kinda long, but the best track on the album is I Dont Wanna Go There, which is incidentally the longest track on the album of almost 9 minutes. that ****ing guitar solo..

Dinosaur Jr. at their best was in the 1980s... sorry, man. And Dino Jr. from the 90s doesn't even enter the discussion...

Most of the time yes. Not dislike, but I tend to listen to favourite tracks off double albums rather than listen from back to front.. Which kind of sucks.

Even MCATIS - Smashing Pumpkins can sometimes drag and I love that album.

all Dinosaur Jr. is good. but this album just clicks with me so much, i absolutely adore it. i've not disliked anything they've ever produced.
