chick's got a brilliant voice, jobim's playing is minimal at points but still rings true.

epic stuff from some obscure orchestra in eastern europe. blends classical, jazz, folk, and even funk elements to make one beauteous album.

Which they are! Saw them live not long ago. I was not disappointed.

Cibo Matto - Viva La Woman

So the title of this album is corny...but this is highly addictive and really quirky electro-pop. Plus the singers are so damn cute. Sean Lennon contributes to the band and one of the singers did a lot for the Gorillaz debut.

This song is called Sugar Water:

A "modern classic":

Panda Bear "Person Pitch"

A new punk album that sounded pretty cool:

Crime In Stereo "I Was Trying To Describe You To Someone"

The new covers album that's apparently good:

Streetlight Manifesto "99 Songs Of Revolution"

Kind of mediocre with the exception of Take Pills to be honest. I love that song though.

I enjoyed it though it didn't do a whole lot for me, but I can definitely see its appeal.
