I first came across Billy Childish here when he was in the Buff Medways supporting the Hives at Brixton Academy (he was awesome). Oddly enough, years later came the first time I've felt moved to get any of his material. Looking forward to this one.

Jeru the Damaja - Wrath of the Math
I've been sleeping on this one for too long.

Quadron - s/t
Saw it mentioned somewhere, looked it up on AMG and it looked interesting.

The Bird and the Bee - Interpreting the Masters, Volume 1: A Tribute to Daryl Hall and John Oates
I remember liking some of their previous work and I kinda have a soft spot for H&O, so this should be fun.

Anaïs Mitchell - Hadestown
Kinda the same story as the Quadron. Saw it mentioned somewhere, it looked neat.

last week i went on a film score kick and downloaded just about every score by Danny Elfman. so far, i like Edward Scissorhands best, followed by Mars Attacks, though the new Alice in Wonderland is also quite nice.

The Stone Roses - S/T [20th Anniversary Edition] (2009)

Nice remaster of one of the best albums in all of music canon. I like the fact that 'Fools Gold' was added to the official track listing also.

Gas - Pop (2000)

A classic, monstrously fine exercise in soothing, organic-yet-almost-danceable ambient. Much like a day at the river fishing, you can hear a brook like this babble by all day long and never tire of the sound.

Hive - Devious Methods (1998)

Somewhere between the atmospherics of Goldie and the Frankenstein beats of DJ Shadow lies this little gem by Hive: meticulous, soulful drum n' bass bursting at the seams with spaciousness and many awesome samples. Ideal for a late night when the moon is full and one's mind is cluttered.

It has strong points and weak points (as of the first listen, anyways), but I think the later tracks blow the first ones out of the water.

:thumb: I'm not sure this album is aging very well for me, but I loved the hell out of it back in the day, and have many emotions attached to it.

I finally found Paul Baribeau's entire discography and in my excitement I downloaded all the LP's, I think the last one was Darkness On The Edge Of Your Town
