Motorpsycho - Trust Us (1998) Is it art-grunge? Is it neo-psychedelia with a Sparklehorse complex? Not sure on either, but these guys are extremely potent no matter the song, and I'm happy I tracked it down! Secede - Tryshasla (2005) An ambient album that ranks among the best ever produced by humankind. Low-key, concise, uplifting, but gorgeously textured and attention grabbing all the same. This, friends, is bliss in sonic form.

Camera Obscura - Let's Get Out Of This Country After killing My Maudlin Career, I decided to check out what else this band can do. Let's Get Out Of This Country was the album right before My Maudlin Career, and it is also a winner. Their songs are like candy...twee-ish pop with a southern tinge from Glasgow that I just can't get enough of.

Penguin Cafe Orchestra - Music From the Penguin Cafe Just started listening and this is album is beautiful so far. White Hinterland - Kairos Just seeing the tag organic electronic was enough to make me give it a listen, and it did not disappoint. |
