Gorillaz-Plastic Beach
It has a lot to live up to, but my faith in Damon is steadfast and I expect great things.

Make sure you brew yourself a pot of tea and make a sandwich, it's a very long album.

Last post in this thread for the day I swear.

It definitely merits another listen. I think I was a little impatient that a lot of the songs gradually work their way into the brutality that I'm so accustomed to.

Scritti Politti - Early

A Rough Trade compilation of Scritti's earlier, post-punk/experimental-type stuff. I've heard the odd song off it here and there, but never really bothered trying to get this album myself 'til today.

Earwig - Under My Skin I Am Laughing

And this is some dream-pop/shoegaze-afflicted album that a paragraph-long description on some blog aside, I have no idea what it'll sound like.

Default High on Fire!

I have listened to it once and was not at all disappointed which probably means that I will love it.

Oh, and I agree with whoever said Plastic Beach sucks (wait, was that only me?) but I'm pretty excited about High on Fire. Hopefully after another listen or two I'll be inspired to write more about it.
