It definitely merits another listen. I think I was a little impatient that a lot of the songs gradually work their way into the brutality that I'm so accustomed to.

A Rough Trade compilation of Scritti's earlier, post-punk/experimental-type stuff. I've heard the odd song off it here and there, but never really bothered trying to get this album myself 'til today.

And this is some dream-pop/shoegaze-afflicted album that a paragraph-long description on some blog aside, I have no idea what it'll sound like.

Gots me a couple of downloads of the last two Jarvis Co cker albums, courtesy of Bulldog... am most satisfied to receive them!

I have listened to it once and was not at all disappointed which probably means that I will love it.

Oh, and I agree with whoever said Plastic Beach sucks (wait, was that only me?) but I'm pretty excited about High on Fire. Hopefully after another listen or two I'll be inspired to write more about it.

If plastic beach sucks I'd like to know what tye main issue with it is... just to satisfy my curiosity, nothing more, really...
