High on Fire - Snakes for the Divine

I wasn't even aware they had a new album out till yesterday. I'm still trying to decide if it's as good as Surrounded by Thieves.

And why not? That's a great album, probably their best. And I say probably because I've never heard Power but I have a feeling I wouldn't like it nearly as much as this one.

I'd love to see your signature/links too, but the huge and obnoxious ones have caused me to block all signatures.

Epica – The Divine Conspiracy

I really like it. I think I need more albums by them.

Peeping Tom - Peeping Tom (2006)

A pop-rock/trip-hop musical project by Mike Patton; wonderfully reminiscent of early Faith No More or Mr. Bungle circa California while still trying out all sorts of awesome things. Features collaborations with Massive Attack, Norah Jones, Amon Tobin, Dan The Automator and numerous others.

Discipline - Push and Profit (1993)

Alt. rock meets progressive rock in on this 90's classic, featuring some of the best bass/drum interplay this side of Jupiter. Nice vocals too. Took me forever to find a good copy of this!

The Q4 - Sound Surroundings (2010)

Saw this intriguing jazz/trip-hopper mentioned a couple of times, so tracked it down for myself. Needless to say, it's full of hot gravy and beyond awesome.

Most recejnt download... Scratch My Back by Peter Gabriel... God damn, this may only be a covers album but its ****ing amazing... it's stripped back, stark but ultimately warm sound (strings only with vocals) really find the hear and soul of the songs Gabriel is interpreting and they just feel so emotionally resonant...

I can tell I am going to absolutely love this album...

Madlib's first release under his own name, the brief "Madlib Invazion EP" features a few rough beats with various Lootpack associates rhyming over them. Pretty decent stuff, copped it for a five spot.
