Veal - The Embattled Hearts

Indie-rock band from Vancouver that I wasn't even aware of until yesterday after I listened to that Luke Doucet album. It was a pretty decent album, a little bland in a few parts, but overall it was catchy and not a complete rip off of other bands.

Band of Horses - Cease To Begin

I was a little surprised because as I was going through the pictures of this band I saw that they were actually out drinking! I'm not sure why I see that as mentionable, but there you go. Overall the sound is a little softer then I was expecting, but it's not bad.

That's a really good album, it has a nice easy-going feel to it. Their first album Everything All The Time is slightly better though.

I like both Band of Horses albums equally, both pretty darn good.

I'd love to see your signature/links too, but the huge and obnoxious ones have caused me to block all signatures.
