I honestly don't listen to a lot of the genre and am not familiar with Eric Prydz but having heard a limited amount of Daft Punk, you'd probably enjoy it.

Hopefully Kayleigh will chime in.

Mind hooking me up? I have one song from that and I've always enjoyed it.

Frightened Rabbit - The Winter of Mixed Drinks

I'm on my first listen but I'm definitely enjoying this so far.

Shearwater - The Golden Archipelago

I listened to it last night before bed and really enjoyed but I still have to hear it while I'm awake.

Tomorrow I will play these albums back to back and see which band wins my affection. Should there be a tie I will breed the albums and raise the retarded offspring as my own. Wow I really need to stop taking NyQuil before I go to sleep...
OK Archers of Loaf was an awesome indie rock album but the Crooked Fingers one was such a shift in... everything that I couldn't finish it. How could a band that rocked so hard go to something so... soft and boring?

If you like Shearwater then you should definitely check out one of their newer albums called Rook. I may even be able to dig up a link for you.

The description sounded intriguing: "Old-timey vaudevillian blues in the vein of the Holy Modal Rounders."

Rook is a great album and I appreciate the thought.

Just so you know The Golden Archipelago is their newest album. I'm not sure what the actual release date is but if you want to check it out let me know.
