Maybe it's me and those "Troubled Albums" that actually have some unique moments > just solid kicking out the jams, but ITTOD is not all that much of a mess to me, although "All My Love" is clearly a skip track and a half and "Hot Dog" is filler that's not even as amusing as "Boogie With Stu." Still, I may change my opinion as the Last-Year Yardbirds happenings used on the first album were the best ones and they sounded strong along with the solid jamming beyond those.

EDIT: There was a change in opinion...after some thinking. It makes my observation stronger.

I was never really that much of a fan of Metallica, and while MoP did spark a better kind of Metal scene in The States after a too much Aqua Net was going around in The 80's, it still sounds a a bit too-forced and heavy handed.
In what way?

Its actually a tribute song for Robert Plant`s son, its written with great feeling (obviously) and therefore a shame to just simply skip it.
