Maybe it's time for a new thread, with the new layout? If you think it deserves a new post, I'd lock this one for you, and perhaps there won't be so many people disregarding the rules and interrupting the thread.

I think that Mass Projection is fairly ahead of its time as well. After all, it was recorded in 1970.

I think that would be great. Let's wait for this battle to wrap up just to avoid any more confusion. Once I start a new thread, feel free to lock this one down.

Again, many thanks to the mods for helping clean this thread up and giving me a hand. I really appreciate it.

Initially I preferred the free form style of the MT Mass Projection album with its jazzy drumming, but in hindsight the more eerie creaky plumbing style of the AMM album was more impressive, parts of it would have made a great soundtrack to the film "The Haunting"

I don't think there was any drumming in the Mass Projection album. It's just Takayanagi on electric guitar and Abe on sax.

Anyways, as much as I love the Takayanagi/Abe album, I feel The Crypt has more variety and isn't quite as repetitive as the other. It tends to hold my attention more as well. So... going with the AMM album.

Really! My ears must be decieving me, or maybe I was listening to the wrong thing as I had real problems locating the correct tracks.

Ok, I am calling this battle, with AMM winning 4-0. AMM will go onto the next round to face Herbie Hancock's Thrust. That battle will start in a new thread that I will create tomorrow. Once it is up with the new rules, I'll set up the next battle.

Also!
-Feel free at anytime to submit an album as a challengers for the current theme of "four tracks or less"

-And it is perfectly fine to submit a theme for future consideration also
