Badmotorfinger
Definitely the best of the bunch. Chris Cornell has all the oomph! of an opera singer. The guitar is tuned weirdly and plays all kind of exotic scales. And Rusty Cage! Jesus Christ Pose! Say no more! Nevermind Was my fave for quite a long time. Then again, it's mostly looking back with rose-tinted glasses, cos I had this mad crush on this Belgian girl in my college who was heavily into Nirvana as well. Considering that Bleach is a much better album, and shows their Melvins' influence. Ten Meh. so:- Soundgarden - 1 Nirvana - 1 Pearl Jam - 0 |

Unsurprisingly I love all three albums and all three rank as some of the very best rock albums ever recorded. Nevermind probably ranks as one of the very greatest ever recorded, but with all the soundalike artists since, it has lost some of its spark. Have to agree with Jedey, in that Ten has stood the test of time the best out of the three albums.

I find both that Soundgarden and PJ album boring, but the Nirvana one is a part of my youth in some ways because Nirvana's greatest hits was one of the first CDs I ever bought. Lots of great tracks on Nevermind, and interesting all the way through

Badmotorfinger is pretty boring so that's off the table for me right away. Nevermind and Ten are both solid albums but the best songs on Ten are better than the best songs on Nevermind so I'm voting Pearl Jam.
