Rumours is simply the pinnacle of everything average in the 70's. And there's honestly nothing wrong with that.
Hotel California was the peak of the Eagles, but that's certainly not saying much.

I have a soft spot for Supertramp, and I really do believe 'Goodbye Stranger' and 'The Logical Song' are some of the finest examples of great musicianship and pop sensibilities co-existing together to make great music.

Yes, I did make it a three way tie. I don't like Supertramp, kinda ambivalent to Fleetwood Mac, and am okay with Eagles. So yeah.

Has to be Rumours for me, I do have a soft spot for Supertramp but Rumours is a class apart. Not too taken with the Eagles.
