The Specials - 4
The English Beat - 0

The Specials has some brilliant stand-out classics on the album, something The Beat album lacks.

Are we able to set up a three-way versus?

I don't see why not. A threesome could be pretty interesting actually! Anybody want to PM album nominations to me for a three-way battle?

As for the current battle I've never really been a big fan of ska so I'll sit this one out. The Specials are pretty decent but I'm not in much of a rush to get any of their albums.

The Specials-5
The Beat-1

Huh. Maybe I haven't listened enough, but after my first listen to both The Beat stood out FAR more than The Specials. That opinion might change later, and if the voting is any indication, most definitely will. But for now, I'm going for The Beat.

The Specials - 5
The Beat - 2

I just listened to both for the first time recently and The Beat stand out for me just a tad more.

Gah! I missed the St. Vincent vs. Fever Ray vote. I'm glad St. Vincent won though, because that's who I was going to vote for.

A three way match would be awesome.
