I know it's too late, but (and this is based on the albums, not the bands...otherwise it would be the other way around):
Pink Floyd 7 Radiohead 6 ------------------------ Built to Spill 7 Modest Mouse 0 I enjoy both albums but Perfect From Now On is far more consistent than This is a Long Drive...

I really like both bands but as others have said Long Drive is mediocre Modest Mouse while Perfect From Now On is one of Built to Spill's best.

Probably doesn't matter too much now, but...
Built to Spill - 9 Modest Mouse - 1 Never really cared for Modest Mouse, and I recently DL's Perfect From Now On on a recommendation from Rickenbacker. It's a pretty decent album for sure.
