Booboo has a 5 votes policy. I think you should have as many votes as it takes. I remember one battle between NMH and Pavement and NMH was really winning, and then Pavement almost pulled it back. You should leave them running until it's clear no one else is really gonna vote. Or have a time thing to it. Leave it running for a day or something.. That's just my 2 cents anyway.

I like the 5 vote method, keeps it interesting.

I'm not fussed either way, but if I miss a great battle just because someone beat me to it. And a favourite album of mine loses then it's a bit ghey.

Pavement v NMH a very good match up, I`ve noticed some of the match ups on here are kind of strange but some really good

I think the matchups work best when the bands are comparable. If someone did something like Ulver vs. Micheal Jackson would suck.
