Zen Arcade - One of my favourite albums ever
DNOTD - Get bored of about 6 or 7 songs in.

No contest really

Zen Arcade is much much much bigger in scope, and I think the songwriting in general is just better. Husker Du wins for me.

Minutemen for me. Zen Arcade has some of my favourite Husker Du tracks but it's not as great an overall listen. Good vs. choice, Zen Arcade was the Minutemen's influence to create a double album.

I think this was Sealtzers suggestion.

Double Nickels on the Dime, and it's easy. Minutemen had an incredibly unique sound that blended many of my favorite rock attributes. Mike Watt and D. Boon is one of my favorite bass-guitar combos of all-time...

Zen Arcade for me. Despite the amount of songs on it it still manages to be incredibly consistent. Minutemen are good but i've never really dug them that much.

Double Nickels On The Dime
IMO Husker Du's real peak was New Day Rising

Two of my favourite albums, but the Minutemen win it for me.
