No Album wins in Lifeblood v. Guerilla. I don't think we're going to get any more votes so lets move on to the first of the suggested battles...

The Pogues - Rum, Sodomy And Lash

vs.

Stiff Little Fingers - Inflammable Material

As always, no criteria exists. Vote how you want, and please PM me with suggestions on battles you'd like to see. Go!

Edit: I can't ever promise updates on the weekends, and its a 3 day weekend for us State-side so expect the results to be posted and a new battle prepped for Tuesday the 1st of June.

This one was tough for me because I ****ign love Alternative Ulster, but the Pogues have an other worldly gravity I find a use for everywhere.

So I vote for Rum, Sodomy, and the Lash, as well as the album with the same name.

Hmm funny, I put that Stiff Little Fingers album on my iPod the other day, so I'll refresh myself today. However, I've never listened to any Pogues albums so that won't help me vote.

I'd love to see your signature/links too, but the huge and obnoxious ones have caused me to block all signatures.

Exactly what I'm thinking.

Stiff Little Fingers are all very nice, but that Pogues one is one of the most fun albums of all time, so it wins for me.

Which reminds me, I need to nip out and stock up on some wine in a bit

I prefer the Pogues album, even though it's not my favorite of theirs.

I don't think it's a spotless album like Red Roses For Me or If I Should Fall From Grace With God either, but it's still an album I'd recommend to absolutely anyone. The Gentleman Soldier's the only song I feel holds the album back that little bit.

A couple of favourites of mine off of it;

My nomination but yes I'm voting The Pogues but both these albums are amazing and hold a special place in my heart.
