If I'm only allowed to vote when I've heard both albums I'm probably not going to be voting often on this forum...

This was one of my altime favorite threads because it stirred debate, got peoples opinions out there, didn't require a lot of time. People lobbied one another.

And no Reznor was only really known here for this thread. He vanished one day.
So you're taking the ropes

Does it have to be two different bands? And not 2 popular albums from the same band? Or does it not matter?

And yeah, it seems like it could be a great thread if done properly.

It just can't be two albums from the same band.

You pick the criteria, sometimes there isn't even a theme.

Ah, so not Unknown Pleasures vs Closer then. Even though there wouldn't be much point because Unknown Pleasures would win hands down.

If I think of a good one, I'll PM you. I'll be checking on this thread to see how it's doing

Generation Terrorists and Holy Bible, I wouldn't really class them as Britpop. I reckon you might enjoy them, I do anyway. I was never into Britpop apart from Oasis and Blur.

MSP don't sound very britpoppy the genre doesn't really have a sound as a whole.

PS I'd like to say I voted Lifeblood because of the chance the band took, They could have stuck to thier signature sound and sold a lot of albums but they were bored. They took a huge chance making this and it turned out great.

Well, if they offer some energy or some funk I'm bound to like them...
