Most underrated artists EVER;
James Blunt
Lady Ga Ga
Keane
Jonas Brothers (a bit thrash metal for my taste, but still pretty good)

Those were the first few i could think of, i chose them because they were underrated in rock circles and all music circles for that matter.

Derek Trucks Band would be the most underrated I can think of. Their music is amazing yet most of the people I know have never heard of them.

Look them up on Youtube, they've got a lot of live videos on their from their Songlines DVD and other earlier performances.

Yeah, they're pretty versatile though, they do a lot of jazz and blues songs, and they also cover a few Indian sarod players.

there's nothing wrong with a good classic sound to start with. i'm actually getting sick of the modern guitars wailing 2 chords at various tempos. which is weird considered thats the music i grew up with. oh well.
