Bookends is fantastic, They have some of the catchiest singles going and we're consistently producing above average albums for over a decade. Plus they still sound great live even today.
Agreed! My best friend actually saw them live last night and said it was fantastic. I wish I had the chance to go.

this thread needs some love for...

Jawbox - early nineties post-hardcore/alternative that never made airwaves for some reason, which is a shame because they're both accessible and rather excellent. i think they're cited as part of the emo scene of the time, which i can't hear at all in their music, probably just from their attachment to the Dischord label. they bear resemblance to a hyper-melodic Fugazi, they've got their heavy moments and their light ones too but it all seems to mesh rather well:

Foals are extremely underrated, although they are amazing. Bloc Party are rediculously underrated too, but they are both more Indie. For Rock/Hardcore bands, I'd say Converge, Underoath.

The Mars Volta is also extremely underrated, and they're amazing.

Radiohead.

Those guys really don't get any praise

EDIT: Apologises if that obvious 'joke' has already been made, not bothered to read through and check.

Sarcasm.

Underrated bands...

People wank themselves into an early grave over Radiohead.

My best material is wasted on you people! I am going to get some new e-friends now.
