Sacrilege's last album 'Turn Back Trilobite' is absolutely phenomenal melodic metal. Unfortunately the production is terrible

i think Living Colour is very underrated. sure they had Cult of Personality, but there was much more to them than that. they are very talented and made some good music

They toured and played with Rolling Stones. Corey Glover (vocals) was in the film Platoon (admittedly before LC broke) so I don't really see them as underated. Vivid is a solid album though. I haven't heard it for a few years though.

Living Colour were very much of their time. I heard some of their stuff a few weeks ago & it's dated horribly.

Soundgarden are underrated in the sense that most people place the likes of Nirvana above them who (IMO) pale in comparison to Soundgarden.
But who am I? to criticise the king (or queen) of Prog.

Tea Leaf Green
I went on a Jam Band binge a few months ago now after realising the Spin Doctors were not as bad as I had first suspected & came across a lot of insanely talented bands such as this one (others included Blues Traveler, Phish, John Butler Trio, Moe, Mofro, String Cheese Incident, Widespread Panic, Trey Anastasio). I have the albums: 'Living In Between' (2003), 'Midnight On The Reservoir' (2001), 'Tea Leaf Green' (1999), 'Taught To Be Proud' (2005), 'Raise Up The Tent' (2008) & my personal favourite, a live album 'Rock 'N' Roll Band' (2006). Insanely underrated and talented group of musicians. If you havent heard them before youre in for a shock like I was. Heres a few of my favourite tracks of the live album, which I think is their best. I was devastated when I couldnt find 'The Garden (Part 1)' (which is basically just a 5 minute jam (no singing unlike parts 2 & 3) version from 'Rock N Roll Band' album on youtube so had to settle for this which aint too bad either. |
