Anyone here like MUSE? That song "Take A Bow" is on the 2nd Watchmen trailer as you probably know. ( from the album Black Holes and Revelations ) MUSE has some Radiohead qualities.

Nice. Too bad I missed the poll. I had just wanted to say that I thought they were very underrated as well.

Pardon me if I'm rejuvenating an old thread,
but Blind Guardian has garnered enough acclaim in the power metal genre. Perhaps not overrated in comparison to Dragonfarce (and I say that with care), but Hansi is dishing out scifi themes, in an upbeat, heavy tone that would only interest a select niche audience. Which is perhaps why veiws are mixed by the critical mass.

I think Control Denied was a masterpiece, comparable to Schulinder, Digiorgio and the rest's earlier work. I also thought Genghis Tron deserved much more recognition for consolidating so many would-be-gimmicky experimentation.

So I will go out on a limb and say.....ok, in the realm of totally mainstream media that Justin Timberlake is quite overrated, but I had the oppurtunity to listen to Futuresexsounds and I thought it was quite an innovative pop album. My friend made me watch a live concert video of his (same one that made me listen to the album) and I had to say I was quite impressesed. He played several instruments and he was always doing something while singing. I may not run out and buy his music, but I do see him as a credible artist now.

HURT and Fair To Midland.

Especially Hurt... they don't get the respect that they deserve as artists.
