Silencer manages to be some of the most insane sounding black metal I've ever heard yet gets little recognition from anyone. The melodic softer parts mixed with the intense black metal, the sporadic mood changes, and Nattramn's vocals all come together in a weird way that make it both an uncomfortable listen yet something you can't quite turn off.

Radiohead is the most underrated band. They are truly in a league of their own. Johnny Greenwood is also the most underrated guitar player. His playing is before its time genius.

Radiohead are ridiculously over rated. When this is said people automatically think that I think they are awful. Far from it but there are a hundred bands out there making great music that don't get noticed.

Thats true--I will admit that..... do you like Vampire Weekend? I think they might be one of the break-out acts for 2009. I think they are underrated as they are great songwriters & extremely artistic & furthermore helped put NYC back on the map in terms of new bands.

No I don't like them all that much at all personally.

I would say Minutemen; even though I've heard people say they were great (on they're documentary, of course), I don't hear people talk about them much any more.
