Also, "guitar based" music?... That's not a genre, if it was, it would make metal, punk, blues and flamenco the same thing.

In the grande scheme of things, "guitar based music" is the genre I listen to since I study Jazz, Classical, Flamenco, Country, Blues and rock/metal guitarists. So guitar based music to me is essentially that - guitar based music. But I was speaking in general terms since I dont really subscribe to genres or categories. I've been playing guitar for over 20 years and play intricate music like Racer X, or Dream Theater and things of that nature, so guitar based music is all Im into. And incidentally, like myself, both these bands are KISS fans. Paul Gilbert and Mike Portney are both huge KISS fans. Is this a crime??? You imply listening to KISS means you have no appreciation for good music??!
I'm saying Ted's opinion on drugs or booze doesnt matter to me. Niether does Gene Simmons opinion, for that matter. And I don't really think Ted's opinion of booze or drugs needs to be expressed by putting down Cobain and saying he's better off dead, and now eqauting Dime with allah, and yapping about anti-family values, or whatever. It just makes him sound ridiculous.
And who is even babbling about KISS? you've already mentioned them two or threee times in this thread?? get over it, dude. And I didnt put much wieght on Ted's opinion of KISS to begin with, so your point is moot. KISS is just a live show to be enjoyed, thats all.
