Isn't that funny, cuz I specifically searched this out so I could argue my case (if you will). I am glad to see I don't have to do that!! I kept thinking that if you have been around mb long enough to post that much, you must be able to see my point.

You want to know what I find hilarious, Vince Neil is playing a concert (it costs like $20 to see like, 5 shyte bands) in a park in my crappy town. Trust me its a fu**in joke, April Wine is advertised as a feature every year. I'm sorry, but I find that absolutly laughable.

Edit: i'm so stupid, i forgot i was in the same thread still, sorry e1

They play here about every two weeks, and the dregs of humanity come out of the woodwork for the momentous occasion everytime.

Everyone in our city has seen April Wine at least once, I have seen them 5 times without even trying to.

I HATE THEM TOO!!!!

Meh, as far as wussy AOR stuff is concerned, April Wine are decent, they're not by any means one of the worst offenders.

That (dis)honor would go to Journey, Foreigner, REO Speedwagon, Survivor, Toto, Triumph, Night Watcher and Asia.

I like most classic rock, but the aforementioned names are the major exceptions.

Brrrrrrrrrr.

I wouldn't say I hate them (or did I already?? anyway...) but the fact that they play here ALL THE TIME really cheapens it. They do have some talent, or at least some ok songs, but its like "Hmm, I wonder who will be playing this year?? Oooh, I hope April Wine comes back!" HA,HA,HA Because I kinda like 2 of Sam Roberts songs (not really I went through a phase ) , and he/the band played, which was ok...
PS: WooHoo for Victoria Day!!!
