I agree completely.

The constant release of a new greatest hits sucks too.
I love bowie, but he's gotta have 10 of em (I don't have those)
At least he has plenty of releases, these bands that have 5 albums with two of them greatest hits need to be taken to with a mace, yes the one on a stick

Name droppers! I hate "musicians" who use other's names to get known/people to buy their stuff.

One hit wonders, bands that come out with one album or one single and disappear.

"Qu-ear Muffs," those huge headphones people wear thinkin' they look cool or play better when they really don't.

Tribute albums that are made that where the band doens't really quite deserve an album to have one made of it.. Or albums like "Tribute to Iorn Maiden on Piano" (yes I actauly saw someting simialr to this once) or teh String Quartet truibutes Slayer, etc... these are just completely inane...

bumping for the simple fact that I have too much time on my hands to remember this thread existed and that something was bothering me so instead of outbursting with spam I found it.

When bands rerelease several albums with bonus tracks.

when bands re-release stuff in the 'remasterd' version and it sounds even worse then the original *thinks of th e Queen Hollywood releases in particular*
can't they just leave the original alone....

But I actually liked the piano tribute to Iron Maiden. With the number of different melodies they have going on at any one time, it sounds pretty good transcribed to piano.
